INCEPTION = Brilliant.
IMO, not for kids under 16. Some violence and a few instances of profanity, but nothing gratuitous.
Hans Zimmer score is outstanding. 'Time' (end) is perfect, absolutely perfect.
Ensemble acting is stellar.
2 1/2 hours of taut, dense layers of movie magic.
Need some time to process, but possibly in my top 10 list...definitely top 25.
A couple weeks ago I watched an intriguing movie, Into Temptation. It's an Indy film, filmed here in Minneapolis. It was directed by a local guy, Patrick Coyle. We watched it at Saint Thomas and Patrick came for a little Q & A afterwards. Really interesting movie. According to movie standards I'd say it should mostly be viewed by "mature" audiences, but I'm not really sure what that means I guess. Any way, good flick. I recommend it. I'd love to hear what people think too.
I think I watched a total of 5 minutes of the Oscars last night. Considering that I hadn't seen even ONE movie that was up for Best Picture, I didn't really have much interest.
